A tool that does only one thing, but does it really, really well
This is one of those tools that I only use for one very specific taskābut I get compliments, admiring glances, and the occasional, "Hey, I gotta get me one of those" whenever I break it out.
So what is it?
Find out after the jump...
It's called the LockDriver, and it can tighten a hose clamp like you wouldn't believe.
Once you're locked on, your hands are basically free. This is a huge advantage with hose clamps, since you're often using them to repair, rig up, or otherwise reunite two pieces that need a final push together before you can twist the clamp's screw to tighten the metal band.
Hose clamps secure dishwasher drain lines under the kitchen sink, the radiator lines on old cars, and the fuel lines on your lawnmower. You can use a hose clamp with a barb to splice a broken garden hose or a compressor's air line.
College kids on spring break use them to strap funnels to hoses (why I don't know) and on the Fourth of July I saw an American flag hose-clamped tight to an iron fencepost in Brooklyn.
Hell, I got a cousin down in Georgia who uses a hose clamp to hold his license plate to the back of his Buick.
What else have you all used hose clamps to do? I feel a 10 Uses coming on.

I am going to use this tool to get to the hard to reach places in my inboard motor on my boat.
