I'll finish this project—or die trying
I’ve ordered products from the very useful Rockler Woodworking and Hardware catalog for years. Hinges and drawer slides, router bits and band saw blades; they’ve always had what I needed.
In their most recent catalog, though, I saw something I definitely do not want—no matter how much I may one day need it—plans and hardware for a full-sized casket.
As in a box for dead people.
It makes me wonder who you build such a thing for. Surely not as a gift. And for yourself? The only thing worse than building it too early and having to put it beside the La-Z-Boy in the living room is getting started on it too late. That’d just be a waste of good wood and the fifteen bucks the plans cost.
I don’t know—where does a casket fit in on your to-do list?
