My American Boots
I don't normally wear my work boots to the office, but this week I
thought I'd show a little national spirit with my Heritage line of Thorogood boots—made with pride in Wisconsin since 1892.
With an American flag embroidered on the tongue (right above the AFL-CIO logo, LEFT) the boots are about as American as that iconic 1932 image of construction workers having lunch on a girder hundreds of feet above the New York streets.
In fact, if my squinting is accurate, those guys wore Thorogood boots to work that day, too.
