Why we don't drill aerosol cans

We've all been here.
Here we have "dad" taking a drill to an aerosol can, announcing confidently beforehand that "you gotta cut the plastic out of this." Right.
I'm just glad the narrator, dinosaurrocket, had the foresight to preface it all with the famous last words, "My dad, the genius."
Fellow geniuses: any ill-advised drilling or other weekend woes to report?
