Woodflame: a green tailgate grill
It wasn't so much the experience of sitting on steel benches in 40-degree weather that had me a little cranky this weekend as I watched my alma mater football team play for the Patriot League Championship. No, it wasn't even watching my team lose (we Rams still grabbed the titleāand let's face it, I'm just killing time 'til baseball season starts again).
No, no, no, it was having to go through that game munching on a cold pretzel and swigging what the establishment thought was appropriate to call hot chocolate (seriously, Fordham, I'm calling you out here).
I suddenly understood the appeal to tailgate parties and was wishing I had the foresight to haul over one of Woodflame's BBQ grills.
Not only are they portable and just the thing needed to make a tasty shish-kabob, but they are also an eco-friendlier option to traditional grills because they don't use propane or charcoal.
Instead, Woodflame has married some modern technology with the old school, wood-burning process to create a grill that runs on palm-sized chunks of hardwood and doesn't puff out dirty, creosote-laden smoke.
It's also safer since you're not handling lighter fluids or trying to make a gas connection. And the 207 square inch cooking area of the Delecto is just the thing to get you from winter tailgates to summertime camping trips and everything in between--like that lunchtime craving for BBQ as you try to finish up the latest exterior home project before the snow starts coming.

I have used three Woodflame Grills in the last 12 years and my present one is out of commission. I am trying to find a place to buy parts or an entire new unit. I live in Connecticut, USA. Please advise if you have any suggestions.
Thanks
