Lather up for Handwashing Awareness Week
December 5, 2007
In honor of National Handwashing Awareness Week (yeah, you read that right), I thought I'd bring you the EZ Faucet.
Along with these other hands-free kitchen faucets, the iTouchless product helps conserve water and reduces the spread of germs.
Unlike them, however, the EZ Faucet is an infrared sensor (see the red waves?) that attaches to the side of your current spigot.
You don't have to change out any fixtures--and it runs on four AAA batteries, so there's not even any messy electrical wiring to worry about.
It's not the best looking of the hands-free options, but it is one of the quickest and cheapest to install at $60.
