Blowing leaves with a shop vac
January 10, 2008
Although leaf season may be over for most, I wanted to share Gene's genius solution: set the shop vac in reverse, remove the receptacle, and blow 'em away.
Certainly less noisy, stinky, and wasteful than a gas-powered blower (which I acknowledge I've praised in the past.)
The smart tip raises another question we've asked from time to time here at TOH:
Is the shop vac truly the most useful tool in the shed? If not, what is?
