Milwaukee wet/dry vac proves even cool kids get leaks

See, this is what you hipsters get for thinking you can live in a garage. Now you're late to the Yeasayer show.

But at least you have Milwaukee's new cordless wet/dry vac to get you out of this mess.

There are two new models: one runs for 16 minutes on Milwaukee's V28 platform, and another goes 11 minutes using new Li-Ion or older NiCad 18-volt batteries.

Now, I understand why you can't have both AC/DC power on something as small as, say, their sexy new 12-volt Sub-Compact Driver.

But I mean, this is a shop vac. It's already bulky (this one, at least, is a stackable box rather than an R2-D2 dome).

I can't exactly wait for the battery to charge if an incontinent water heater's marking its territory on the floor. In an emergency, lemme plug it in.

Am I repeating myself here?

Now if said leak causes the power to go out, a battery operated shop vac may be your best friend. It would also be nice for taking out to the car for vacuuming, and not having to break out the extension cord. 16 minutes is plenty of time for me.

Agreed, John. I just want to have it both ways.

Your kidding right? This thing is so small it can just about handle a glass of water. Kids have a bigger spill than this can handle with it's capacity. What was this designed for a childs tea party?
