Dinner party gift for a DIYer: Tool Silverware

July 10, 2008

Tool Silverware is silverware with a wrench set on the opposite end

I’m always looking for silly gifts for my family of carpenters and DIYer friends, so when I recently needed a funny housewarming gift, guess what came to mind. Tool Silverware is a fork, spoon and knife trio that doubles as a “drop forged” stainless steel wrench set – and the unlikely multi-tool was an instant hit with the new homeowners. The novelty set even comes in a blow-molded heavy duty ABS plastic box just like the set in your garage. Pick up your own 3-piece set - or give one to a friend - for $24.

This is a great gift for a child. My three year old son just received these "tools" from his Mima and Papa. He loves them.
