Farmhouse sinks: not just for the kitchen
Many of you old house aficionados are familiar with apron-front (also known as farmhouse) sinks, and many of you may be lucky enough to have an original. But many people don't realize the style can also work in the bathroom. For inspiration, I've compiled a few examples of manufacturers who make apron-front sinks or vanities for the bath.
The Farmhouse Vanity Set shown above from Pegasus Faucets would work well in a transitional design. It includes a cabinet, top, and sink.
This island-inspired Sonterra vanity from Fairmont Designs is made of lyptus with a hardwood veneer. The top is available in either marble or granite.

The French Farmhouse Cabinet from the Furniture Guild is part of the company's Vanity Flair line. It is made of maple and available in custom sizes.

I hate to be negative, but those bathroom apron front sinks look horrible. Sorry!
Plus, a bathroom sink should be bowl-shaped, the better for washing up, draining, cleaning, cat's napping zone, etc. =^D
