Grow a sod couch
July 2, 2008
There are few things more relaxing than lying supine upon freshly mowed grass. If you prefer the supine-style of Homer Simpson—on a couch, mouth hanging open with a bit of drool action going on—consider building this.
In 2005, ReadyMade unveiled DIY instructions for “lawn furniture for literalists.” In 2006, growing settees sprang up all over San Francisco to promote their Let’s Green This City initiative. The “topiary furniture” how-to has since inspired a YouTube video or two and, thanks to the blogosphere, resurrects every spring.
The couch makes for an interesting family project, an ongoing summer gardening hobby, and an outdoor seat. If you build one, ready yourself for plenty of oohs, aahs, and how-did-you-do-thats.

Doesnt look to cozy, bit really cool. I'd love if dandelions sprouted haha
It's going to be a bit tricky mowing it.
