Tote Trac: stealthy storage
During my altogether-too-infrequent decluttering rampages sessions, my first instinct is always to tuck miscellaneous junk and tools under or behind furniture to hide it all away. The Tote Trac system, however, has opened my eyes to a whole other alternative: hiding it all in plain sight by hanging them from the ceiling—kind of like Spiderman does when he's chasing the bad guys.
The system of racks mounts to the joists or rafters in your ceilings and can conveniently accommodate pretty much any of your standard-issue plastic storage boxes. Included with the system are special hangers for such bulky, hard to store items as bikes and ladders. Plus, the expandable, patent-pending Tote Tracs can hold up to 400 pounds and can even be mounted into wall joists for extra side storage.
