Mini Driver (a tool, not an actress)
I’m always suspicious of the stuff on the counter next to the cash register at the hardware store. It’s impulse-buy junk, for the most part: Needle nose pliers for $.99, cheesy little flashlights with batteries you can’t replace, or fake-looking fake rocks with a little sliding door on the bottom for hiding a key near your front door so the burglar can find it. Earlier in the summer, I saw a small, battery-operated, made-in-China “Personnel Size Fan” with sharp, thin plastic blades that looked as though they’d cut through your cheek if you got it too close. (I briefly regretted no longer working for a corporation because I would have bought one of the fans and taken it to the HR department as a present, figuring they'd be careful with it.)
But I just bought an amazing miniature screwdriver that sat in a little counter display next to the other junk. The Teeny Turner is 2 3/4 inches long and it holds six hex-bit screwdriver tips in the handle and one, magnetically, in the blade. Very high quality. Made in Canada by Picquic. I haven’t needed it yet, but when I do I’ll pat myself on the head for having the right tool for the job. If your hardware store doesn’t have them, you can order one online.

I have the Workforce version stubby magnetic ratchet driver, and although I don't need it often, when I do need it, it is a real time and aggravation saver.
