This is not my garage, unfortunately.
Tossed is the term used in tv cop shows and cheesy detective novels to refer to a room that has been hastily searched—all the drawers are turned upside down, the junk in the closets has been flung around, and inevitably, the mattress is askew. And then there’s a tossed salad where all the ingredients in the bowl have been lifted, dropped and coated with oil. Finally, there’s tossed cookies—a college term for vomiting. My garage has definitely been tossed; I’m just not sure which meaning best describes the mess in there. Most days I have to leave the door closed, only because someone driving up might call the police, assuming someone got hurt in there.
If I had custom garage cabinets made by Moduline, my worries would be over. Once I got everything put away in its proper place, there’d be room for a car in the garage. When I wanted to find that roll of Teflon tape or that bag from the hardware store that I bought last weekend, or the instruction booklet for the weedwacker or a garden-hose repair coupling, I’d know right where to look. And after I got everything in the garage organized, I could attack my office, then the shed, the attic, the junk drawer in the kitchen, my fly fishing vest, my glove compartment. Is organization the path to happiness?

Obviously this is a garage of someone with not enough projects to do, and more money than me.
Organization is the base for getting all those projects done. Rather than moving projects from place to place and not getting them finished, an organized storage area lets you pick them off 1 by 1.
how much did it all cost
