100-foot tape rewinds fast
I could have used my 25-foot-long tape measure when I was laying out the fence around the vegetable garden, but a 100-foot-long tape was the better choice. In fact, the longer tape is handy for lots of outside jobs, such as figuring out whether I have enough Christmas lights to go around the front porch railing or whether the annoying uphill neighbor's new and severely ugly pre-build shed (from The Severely Ugly Pre-Built Shed Store?) is too close to the property line. The cool thing about this particular 100-foot-long tape from Garrett Wade is that the 3:1 geared rewind crank pulls in the tape very fast. (NOTE TO FAMILY MEMBERS WHO MIGHT HAPPEN TO READ MY BLOG: Today is December 1st, and anything you read about here for the next several weeks will make an awesome Christmas present for me--
your favorite son/brother/uncle. Later in the month, I will write about full-size pick up trucks, and I prefer dark blue with tan leather seats.)
