Iron Elegance in a Kitchen Sink

Think of cast iron and “contemporary” usually doesn’t come to mind. However Kohler’s new Indio single basin kitchen sink represents a truly modern design twist over most traditional cast iron products on the market today.
Indio has an exposed faucet deck that, combined with its undermount style, creates distinct ledges around the sink when installed.
This not only prevents having to drill holes in your countertop but also helps accommodate one of the two standard accessories, a cutting board that spans the width of the sink and rests on the small ledges. The other accessory is a bottom basin rack for heavy-duty tasks such as washing dishes or drying pots and pans. Indio has a nine-inch deep basin and is 33-by-21-inches in size.
