Live from the International Builders’ Show: Environmentally-Friendly Kitchen Cabinets from Tonusa
January 22, 2009
Tonusa has introduced a remarkable kitchen cabinetry line called Elements. Designed by Fu-Teng Cheng, Elements is contemporary in design, modular, and built from environmentally responsible materials.
Various shapes, sliding panels and relatively hidden features are part of what makes this cabinet line so interesting. For example, dishes are stored in a space over the sink area. What you don’t see is that the bottom of that space is perforated aluminum (recycled, of course) so any water left on the dishes after washing can drip back into the sink basin.
The whole line is refreshing to look at and reminds me of a highly-designed Ikea-like style.
Elements is also quite reasonably priced starting at $125/linear foot.
