Panasonic has introduced the next generation of their successful Whisper ventilation fans. The Whisper Green series fans combine energy efficiency, quiet operation and a new motor technology that delivers unparalleled energy efficiency.
These fans are 300 – 500 percent more energy efficient than the minimum Energy Star requirements thanks to a new DC motor (most bathroom fans use AC-powered motors). Whisper Green fans feature a 6-year warranty, variable speed control and constant air flow, and some models even have a built-in motion sensor control that activates whenever someone enters or leaves the room.

We live in a home built in 1958. Would love to replace our bathroom fan, that has an 8-inch circular exhaust hole that goes directly to the roof; with a newer, more efficient model. The problem is how do you convert the circular hole to the new square openings??
