Motawi Shutters
March 7, 2009
As some of you blog followers may know already, I'm a big fan of the the hand-crafted tile company Motawi. So I was more than happy to find out they had teamed up with Shutterstile to bring homeowners a line of tile-adorned shutters for the home. The squares are set in chocolate-black grout atop similarly hand-crafted, mortise-and-tenon panels.
I love the ones using Motawi's architectural Frank Lloyd Wright and decorative Montrose collections. Like jewelry for your house, they can be costly though - a pair of the one shown at right in Eastern Red Cedar, with 48-by-15 inch dimensions, costs about $455.
