New green painters' tape really works
March 13, 2009
Blue painters' tape is a step up from regular old masking tape when it comes to keeping paint off adjacent surfaces. But sometimes the paint has a habit of bleeding under the blue tape, making your paint line look a little ragged and crinkly. But now there's Frog Tape, which is a giant leap above the blue tape. Along each edge of a roll of Frog Tape is a thin barrier of the absorbent material that similar to the stuff in your 2 year old's disposable diaper that soaks up the you-know-what. When the liquid paint comes into contact with the edge of the Frog Tape, it solidifies and won't creep under the edge. Amazon also sells Frog Tape. (So what don't they sell? Food? Frog's Legs?)
