Dry-erase refrigerator: Make your mark
Is anyone else’s refrigerator riddled with to-do lists? And do you find that said written reminders tend to wriggle their way out from behind magnets, or loose their stickiness and fall to the floor? Yeah, well, my fridge has too many notes on it to count, and the floor probably has more. It’s a hot mess.
So three cheers for Amana’s new Jot refrigerator, the first dry-erase model in the U.S. that puts organization right at your fingertips by giving you an all over scribbling surface. And as a bonus, Amana is partnering with Crayola to provide dry-erase markers with each Jot. Score!
But not only is this 28-inch wide top-freezer fridge a cool design, it's a practical one, too. With 17.6 cubic feet capacity, integrated door handles, humidity-controlled Garden Fresh crisper drawers, SpillSaver glass shelves and a neutral white color, this fridge is a fun and functional choice for families with little Picassos, or adults who have many memos to write down (not fall down). And for about $549 it can be yours. Not bad.
One last thing. According to the documentation for the Jot it suggests not using red or green dry-erase markers. Evidently those colors are a little tricky to wipe off. Good to know.
