The greatest bit ever?
I love Robertson or square drive screws because they’re harder to strip. But there is no question that the king of all screws is the Phillips, from drywall screws to common wood screws, you’ll find a whole isle at the home center filled with them. While it’s a snap to swap out quick-change hex bits, moving between the two can eat into productivity. Bosch’s “why didn’t I think of that?” combo bit, the P2R2, takes care of that.
The bit’s tip looks like a very narrow Phillips head, but it also fits snuggly into a square drive. Made from strong S2M steel for durability, the bits are available now in either 1 1/2 or 2-inch power bit sizes, in packs of 15 for about $5. So now you have one bit to handle two types of screws.
