Add some style to your shower drain

July 21, 2009

Shower-drain

Sometimes it's the smallest details that make or break a bathroom design. Case in point: the StyleDrain from California Faucets. If you're going to spend hours agonizing over every part of your shower, from the showerhead to the tile, why settle for a boring industrial-look shower drain? This stylish alternative comes in two designs and 30 finishes and has no visible screws. Beyond its good looks, it also features fast-draining capability and is easier to install than round drains because its square shape is easier to cut tile around. The $182 price tag is a bit steep, but might be worth it considering you see your shower drain just about every day.

will ANYONE here ever realize that competing with the 'jones's' is a pointless, utterly retarded way to go through life?

It is a really good idea, easy one but you had to think about it,

Thank you for the tip.

This is a great idea!! I really like how it neatly lines up with the tile. It's much easier to make straight cuts with tile than rounded cuts around the old style drain

As Showroom Manager at Herald Wholesale we love to sell the Style Drains.

The fit and finish are fantastic. Its ability to handle large amounts of water is especially helpful when doing custom showers that have multiple heads, body sprays, etc. going at the same time.

We are moving into our new location in October of 09 and I have incorporated the Style Drains in both public restrooms so my customers can see them installed in tile. They are absolutely beautiful!

Nice look. It needs the ability to have a hair screen on or under it.
I agree with the OP as well.
