Color changing paint
The clock says it’s 6:00 am Saturday morning. I’m up early to paint my bathroom ceiling, hoping I can get two coats on before guests arrive for the weekend.
I knew I wasn't going to have time to muck around this morning, so last night I picked up some latex ceiling paint that the fella in snazzy vest at the home center suggested. Valspar’s Ultra Premium Color Changing Ceiling Paint sounds like a good idea when you're painting a white surface white. The paint goes on purple and dries a flat, white finish. One $17 gallon covers up to 400 square feet and dries to the touch in as little as 30 minutes, and you can recoat in 4 hours. The first coat went on without a hitch, and in the purple paint is easier to track with your eyes.
