Easy wheeling garden gear
October 31, 2009
New rolling storage systems that’ll make
everything from planting bulbs to pulling up weeds a little easier.
Fiskars, known for their pruners, loppers, and saws, developed
a pair of rolling solutions for the DIYer, set to be in stores next spring.
The smaller Sit & Store ($50) features a flip top lid,
concealing a 6 gallon, main tub that could hold tools, potting soil, or seeds. The lid also has a removable cushion can be used to kneel on while reaching into beds. A strap
holds a 5-gallon bucket tightly to the sled, and clip on the tool bin to the
side to hold onto tools, gloves, or a bottle of water as you work. Now that falls here, clean up the yard, after you read this story.
The larger wheelbarrow inspired $80 Carry-All has a 4 cubic
foot bucket, large wheels for easy moving, and easy to disassemble handle to
reduce to help with storage. Inside the large bucket are clips that hold
onto trash bags to make loading to the curb easier. A section of the bucket
holds either a 5-gallon bucket or a flat of plants.

Has anyone seen this in the stores yet? Or does anyone know when they will be there? Thank you...
